The Plant and the Ray of Light

This is a love story.

The lonely Plant has always admired the vibrant, beautiful Ray of Light from afar. But the Plant could thrive only in the depth of the forest, there where the shadows are thick and the waters chilly. Staying too close to the warmth of the Ray of Light could only damage the delicate roots that connected the Plant to Mother Earth.

But the Ray of Light was not a Prince, nor a God, as the Plant believed. He and his siblings were but slaves to their King, the Sun.
So, even if he yearned for the pretty little Plant as much as the Plant yearned for him, the Ray of Light couldn't spare neither a glance or a gentle touch for his dearly beloved, fearing the harm that might come upon them if either the King of Mother Earth learned of their love

Until he day came, when the Ray of Light broke free of his chains...
