It's back! And it's made the jump to the new 52 era!! (Though we skipped one issue. Ooooooooops. But. There were reasons.) Now with two names in the creative team, because The Matriarchies of Muirin author Meyari Mc Farland seems interested in writing this into story format! Here's hoping!
And now, without further ado, here be the solicit:
RED HOOD # 6 Written by M.G. Nemesi & Meyari McFarland Cover & Art by M.G. Nemesi
In a Gotham torn apart by madness, cataclysms, rogue weather and moral ambiguity, one lone vigilante stands, protecting the City from her own shadows. Meet Damian Wayne, the Son of the Bat, who has taken upon himself to carry on his father's legacy... and to wear his cowl! But not everything is at it seems, and an intricate web of lies is about to be uncovered. The truth of Damian's origins will shake Jason's new team to the very core, and more importantly, change Jason himself and shape his future in this Negative Gotham City!

The sad thing about the Outlaws, is that it had potential, but it's been mistreated really badly. From the editors, I mean! they kept changing direction and giving odd turns to the plot to try and accomodate what was happening in the other bat-books, and so the plot (what plot) of Outlaws itself lost consistency, and became holed. and while I enjoy the spotlight on Starfire, it's sad to see our promised "Jason Todd book" put Jason on the benches almost every issue. One thing I can say though, is that the characters have *really* grown in these months, and that's nice. I also hope that good things will come in the way of "Death of the Family".
Thanks a lot for the nice comment! I was side-tracked and began talking about the outlaws, but your comment made me really happy. thank you!
I didn't like so many changes to all the characters and their backstories or really anything about how the official Outlaws was written, but the IDEA of Jason traveling the world with a band of misfits was a good one. Before the actual comic came out I was excited for a Jason solo book and that they were giving him friends. Maybe the new writer taking over can change it for the better.
Damian is such a cutie-pie... just don't let him hear you say that! I'm glad you like him as Batman. It was fun to draw the mini-suit with the oversized "cowl", gloves and boots!
Jason's going to kick his butt after he's done laughing. but yeah, he's adorable. He's still a little shit, but that doesn't stop him from being adorable.
